Hi! I'm Barbara A. Gardener and this website is a companion to my book, "Bonsai Rebel." I wrote the book to help other folks like me who have trouble getting bonsai plants watered every day, for whatever reason. I have mobility issues that forced me to come up with ways to keep my bonsai plants from drying out so quickly, and I explain them in the book. Readers can contact me here with questions, or pass along their "way" of doing bonsai that reduces watering needs. I may or may not publish letters, so let me know if you want to keep your name private. I'll respond to as many letters as I can, but can't guarantee everyone an answer, just as health and schedules allow.
